Terms of Service for White Balancer

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the White Balancer app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Use of the App

White Balancer is a photo and video colour-correction tool. It is provided "as is". You agree to use the App at your own risk. While we strive to improve your photos, we are not responsible for any consequences resulting from the application of image adjustments, from edited images you save or share, or from any other use of the App. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of your original photos.

3. Free Features and Advertising

All editing features in the App are free to use. The free version is supported by advertising, which is served through Google AdMob. Ads appear in clearly labelled placements and are never shown over your photos while you are editing.

We do not control the specific ads served to you. Advertisements are provided by third parties and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

4. In-App Purchase

The App offers a single optional in-app purchase, "Ad Free". It is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently removes all advertising from the App. It is not a subscription, it does not auto-renew, and it is never billed again.

The price is displayed in the App before you confirm, in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and is processed entirely by Apple. We never receive or store your payment card details.

Buying "Ad Free" removes advertising only. It does not unlock, gate, or add any editing functionality — every editing feature remains free whether or not you purchase.

Because the purchase is non-consumable, you can restore it at any time on any device signed in with the same Apple ID, including after reinstalling the App. Use "Restore purchase" on the purchase screen or "Restore Purchases" in Settings.

5. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We cannot issue refunds directly. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded, the advertising-free entitlement is removed and ads resume.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful, obscene, or inappropriate purpose, including but not limited to the creation or distribution of illegal content. You must comply with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. You also agree not to attempt to circumvent, tamper with, or falsify the App's purchase or entitlement checks.

7. Intellectual Property and Your Content

You retain all rights to the photos and videos you edit. We claim no ownership of your content. The App itself, including its name, design, and software, remains our property and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of White Balancer disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the App.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developers of White Balancer and their affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

10. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which White Balancer is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
